University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, Non-Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $3,466-$4,333 per month.
Location: CSUSB Campus.
Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Monday-Friday from 9:30AM to 6:00PM. Some nights, weekend work may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the Children's Center Director, the Master Teacher will work independently to:
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- B.A. in Child Development or related field
- Experience:
- At least one year of experience teaching in an early childhood education program (preferably, a NAEYC accredited program).
- Possess a Child Development Permit: Master Teacher or higher.
- Must have Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, as well as fingerprinting clearance prior to employment.
- Other:
- Extensive knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood.
- Knowledge of child development concepts and skilled at putting them into practice.
- Ability to effectively lead by example and to help others to accomplish tasks through direction.
- Warm and sensitive toward the children.
- Effective organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, helpful, professional attitude.
- Reliable, dependable, punctual, flexible, and responsible.
- Ability to identify children who may have developmental or behavioral concerns.
- Physical: must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.; must be able to bend, crouch, or kneel to assist children; must be able to sit on small chairs or on the floor.
- Special Requirements:
- Live Scan and background check completion before starting work.
- Proof of immunization against Measles and Pertussis, negative TB screening, and health screening required before starting work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current enrollment in M.A. Child Development (or related field) program OR holds M.A in Child Development or related field.
- Possess Child Development Permit: Site Supervisor.
