Nature of Work
APP position in Division of Infectious Disease
Examples of Work Performed
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Evaluating new consults, taking consult calls for inpatient ID service, inpatient rounding on follow up patients on the infectious disease service.
Outpatient clinic may be required for follow up of hospitalized patients or other infectious disease patients.
Supervision Received
The Instructor reports to the Infectious Diseases Division Head, Eric Poeschla.
Supervision Exercised
The Instructor will not supervise other employees.
The position may include oversight of students, APP fellows, observers who may rotate on the inpatient service.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $105,000 to $121,000.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Education: PA or NP
- Special Skills: Colorado License is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient service is preferred (Hospital medicine fellowship will qualify towards this experience)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be successful in this position, candidates will need the following:
- Excellent bedside manner and physical exam skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with other medical providers and disciplines.
- General Internal Medicine knowledge base
